AliMed^® BreakAway Lap Cushion with IQ Sensor Alarm

AliMed® BreakAway Lap Cushion with IQ Sensor Alarm gently reminds patients to remain seated and alerts caregivers when a patient attempts to rise from their chair. The cushion also supplies patients in wheelchairs with a soft, comfortable surface on which to rest their hands. As the patient attempts to rise, a magnetic strap on one side of the lap cushion releases, activating the alarm. Fits 16" -18"W wheelchairs. Not considered a restraint for patients who are physically able to unfasten the belt. The IQ Sensor Alarm can be quickly configured for a patient's needs. Once activated, the alarm's protected settings and "Always On" technology eliminate the need for staff reconfiguration. Includes lap cushion and alarm.
