(BDAE-3) Complete Kit, by Harold Goodglass and Edith Kaplan, provides comprehensive coverage of the nature, definition, and characteristics of aphasia, explains the normative basis for the BDAE scoring system, details how to administer the exam, and shows how to interpret Test Score profiles and recognize aphasic syndromes and their origins. Includes a severity rating scale for measuring communicative ability, as well as testing of visuospatial and quantitative skills after brain injury. Included is the Boston Naming Test, 2nd Ed. (BNT-2), which is a 60-item measure of visual confrontation naming abilities with a 15-item short form and a multiple-choice version of the test for checking comprehension of missed words. BNT can also be used independently. BDAE Stimulus Cards come in a Long Form with 146 illustrations and a Short Form with 27 illustrations, allowing for extended or abbreviated assessments.
