AliMed® Anti-Thrust Wheelchair Cushion with Flat Base is ideal for use on flat chair surfaces, on top of a Solid Seat Insert™, or on a wheelchair board. Higher front surface with lower rear surface reduces forward thrust and sacral sitting while maintaining pelvic neutrality. Pre-ischial bar helps prevent forward migration of the ischial tuberosities. Also helpful when extensor tone is present. Effective alternative to pommel wheelchair cushions, particularly for male patients. Black nonslip vinyl, incontinence-resistant cover with rear secure ties.
